    Diversity and inclusion

    Here at Jalles, we take the expansion of inclusion policies to equalize our workforce quite seriously. Therefore, we have one of the highest female participations in the sector at 20.1%. Among management, we reached 26.7%. We are committed to UN Women's programs, such as the Women's Empowerment Principles, and we are furthering more and more our diversity and inclusion projects.

    Development

    Jalles programs that propel to the future

    Youth Apprentice Program

    10% of the 223 young people aged up to 24 who participated in the Youth Apprentice program in 2021 were hired. Even those who did not come to work for us were absorbed by the city market, being hired for many companies that provide services to Jalles.

    TransformaRH-LMS Program

    By offering online and hybrid training on a specialized platform to all employees, we democratize knowledge so that everyone can acquire new skills and thus achieve their professional development.

    Jalles Journey+

    Aiming to develop technical and general knowledge of the up to 155 professionals holding a variety of positions, we offer up to 200 hours of hybrid training. At the end of the development journey, one of the benefits is the acquisition of scholarships and for that we count with the support of UniEvangélica.

    Lider Inova Program

    We know that being a leader can be inspiring, that’s why we invest in professional education and with our Lider Inova program, we provide behavioral skills training and support for our employees in managerial positions.

    F5 Leadership Program

    Together with Fundação Dom Cabral, we held 10 meetings for managers to prepare for the “new normal” brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic. We had 45 attendees.

    Internship Program

    Last year, we had 60 interns, of which three were hired in about two years. We select the openings according to the areas that need more people in each region.

    Scholarship

    We take professional development very seriously, which is why we guarantee a subsidy of 50% to 70% on tuition for technical, higher education, postgraduate, master's and doctoral courses, totaling R$100,000 per year, distributed among 21 employees.

    Dia de campo project

    We present Jalles' best practices according to our Research and Development, such as the development of new sugarcane varieties and organic management practices and cultural practices. We had over 100 attendees in 2020/21.

    Health and safety

    One of our most precious principles is: life and safety are not negotiable. We make sure to follow this principle thoroughly by integrated work, constant communication and monitoring through initiatives such as the Regras de Ouro de Segurança Program, responsible for signing our commitment with each of our employees.
